"THE OZIMEK NEWS"

The Ozimek News is monthly council published firstly in January 1995 with a help of: Leszek Bąk (the editor-in chef is, from the very beginning), Marek Świercz and Janusz Dziuban(the editorial office's secretary). Editor-in-chief from 1 April 2004 is Witold Żurawicki.Those who cooperate with the newspaper are: Konrad Mientus - a famous folklorist, Krzysztof Spałek - doctor of biology and Jan Niesłony. "WO" has got a circulation of 1700 and it systematicly grows. It found its ardent subscribers not only in the Ozimek commune but also among Polish emigrants in Germany. "WO" changes the image all the time and adapts to requirements of the local press: more and more concentrating on actual occupants` problems and present the conditions of the local autonomy functioning. Reporters appeal to readers for signals about every day problems and also about law absurdities which makes their lives inconvenient. "WO" is willing to help people by informing appropriate authorities.
