We are extremely happy to welcome you to the official website of Ozimek and the Ozimek commune. We would like to present you a region, whose unique attractiveness may be attributed to the following factors: location (20 km away from the voivodship town of Opole) and breathtakingly beautiful places offering the steel-works-town inhabitants and tourists spectacular views and numerous opportunities for rest in Stobrawskie forests and at the three Turawa lakes. It will surely be fascinating to learn about the commune´s history, local traditions and most of all the commune´s renewed image, that of a developing region with material and human potential so needed to attract both foreign and local investors. This area is densely inhabited by Silesians, who have lived here for centuries.
They are well known for their kindness, friendliness, diligence and tolerance; they are also closely bound to their long and rich tradition which they so meticulously cherish and devotedly preserve. Despite considerable cultural discrepancies between Silesians and people who came here from other parts of Poland, the mutual understanding seems to be undisturbed.
We are willing to cooperate with all who can create new jobs in the region and ensure our inhabitants a high standard of living in environmentally friendly conditions.
